你去告诉希西家说，耶和华你祖大卫的神如此说，我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪，我必加增你十五年的寿数。
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
并且我要救你和这城脱离亚述王的手，也要保护这城。
And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
我耶和华必成就我所说的，我先给你一个兆头。
And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
就是叫亚哈斯的日晷，向前进的日影往后退十度。于是前进的日影，果然在日晷上往后退了十度。
Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
我说，正在我中年（或作晌午）之日，必进入阴间的门。我馀剩的年岁不得享受。
I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.
我说，我必不得见耶和华，就是在活人之地不见耶和华。我与世上的居民不再见面。
I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
我的住处被迁去离开我，好像牧人的帐棚一样。我将性命卷起，像织布的卷布一样。耶和华必将我从机头剪断，从早到晚，他要使我完结。
Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.
我可说什么呢，他应许我的，也给我成就了。我因心里的苦楚，在一生的年日，必悄悄而行。
What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
主阿，人得存活，乃在乎此。我灵存活，也全在此。所以求你使我痊愈，仍然存活。
O LORD, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
看哪，我受大苦，本为使我得平安，你因爱我的灵魂，（或作生命）便救我脱离败坏的坑。因为你将我一切的罪，扔在你的背后。
Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
